My name is Martin and I currently live in beautiful (but wet at the moment) Oregon. I am originally from the west of England and moved to the United States when I was 9. I lived in Connecticut through high school, college, and graduate school and moved west about four years ago. I have visited Canada (Honeymoon!), Mexico (cruise!), the UK (family!), France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain (all work).
I am really looking forward to helping you learn and learning from all of you.

My name is Jessica Morrison, and I have lived in Portland, Oregon for the last four years. I was fortunate to have two marketing classes with Tyler as part of Marylhurst University's MBA program.
I grew up in six different states, so it's hard to say I am from anywhere. I was born in Arizona, and then my family moved to Virginia, Missouri, New York, and then Massachusetts. I moved out West for college in 1996 (Tacoma, WA).
I love travelling, and I have lived in Barcelona, Spain for a summer in high school, Granada, Spain for a semester in college, and in Santiago and Iquique, Chile from 2002-2003. I have also visited many countries, including most of South America, Morocco, and recently Mexico.
I enjoy meeting people from other cultures, and I am looking forward to learning more about China through all of you. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

My name is Cindy Aggson, I will usually be responding to questions for me and my husband Roger. We live in a suburb near Portland, Oregon and have been in the area for 10 years. We are currently enjoying the beginning of a fun holiday season with our three little boys (ages: 6, 3 and 1).
I was born in the Chicago area and in addition to Oregon have lived in Illinois, Texas, Ohio, and Utah. I have visited Canada, Spain, Mexico, France, China (Hong Kong in '96), Japan, London, Ireland, Scotland, and Italy for both business and personal travel.
Roger is from Colorado. Before he moved to Oregon he lived in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He has been fortunate to visit Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Hungry, Mexico, Ireland and Canada. All of his International travel has been for fun or school.
We both met Tyler through my job with Digimarc Corporation, a digital watermarking company based in Oregon.
We are looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about everyone's experiences.

My name is Wendi Butler and I’m pleased to be traveling “virtually” with Tyler! I am also excited to meet all of her students through this new blog experience.
I currently reside in Portland, but was born in New Hampshire, one of the original American colonies on the East Coast, and I spent most of my youth on the West Coast near San Francisco, California. I have also lived in Melbourne and Tasmania, Australia, with my “Aussie” husband, Tim. We have 3 beautiful boys who also love to travel and between each of us, we have traveled to each continent except South America and Antarctica!
I know Tyler through the University of Phoenix where I am an adjunct professor and Area Chair of the Undergraduate Marketing program. My day jobs are MOM to my 3 boys and General Manager of a medical equipment manufacturer.
Once again, I am excited to be part of Tyler’s travels and learning more about China from her students!

I am Rebecca, wife, mother of 3, grandmother of 3 and MBA student here in Oregon. We have lived in Oregon 9 years. I was born in North Dakota in September in a snow blizzard and raised in rural Minnesota about 50 miles north of St. Paul, the state capital.
My daughter, her husband and their young children live in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota along with most of the rest of our extended family. My two sons still live at home and in High School. I love the outdoors and my family and I snow ski, mountain bike and road bike as often as possible. We live 70 minutes from Mt Hood (www.skihood.com) and try to ski about 3 times per month. This has been more difficult while I have been in MBA school.
My career is in Product Development and Product Marketing usually focused on software and infrastructure services and delivery. I have worked in 8 startups – 3 of them my own. But I have also worked at IBM and Tektronics and in higher education at the University of Minnesota.
My husband is the world traveler. Currently he is in Mubai, India. This trip he has visited London, Munich, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mubai and Bangalore. I have only been to Canada and Mexico. I have been home working in my business, going to school and raising children. I decided only one of us could travel or no one would be home to watch the kids. In 2 years the boys will be ‘launched’ and I shall be free to do more traveling, for pleasure or for business.
I met Tyler through a networking organization. We found we had more than marketing in common and I have used her as an advisor to help evaluate business and marketing opportunities. She talks fast so you will have to pay close attention:-)
